A resident of Hudson, Massachusetts, discovered a troubling leak originating from their toilet, which was causing water to seep into the cellar below. Concerned about the potential damage, they suspected that the toilet flange might be compromised. To address the issue, we carefully removed the toilet from its position on the floor, allowing us to inspect the flange closely. To our relief, the flange was found to be in excellent condition, indicating that the source of the leak lay elsewhere.

Upon further investigation, we identified the culprit as a faulty wax seal that had deteriorated over time. To rectify the situation and prevent any future leaks, we proceeded to install a new wax seal along with fresh bolts to secure the toilet firmly in place.
